Not only do I love nailpolish, but I also love makeup. I unfortunately don't have the money to buy mac makeup since I am in college lol. I see a lot of people buying E.L.F makeup. Is it really a good brand to buy? I usually go to Walmart and get the Covergirl, Revlon, Hard Candy etc, but I do like to expand and try new things. Any other kinds of makeup that you can let me know I would be grateful! I may start doing makeup tips but I am no pro lol.
i'm no pro as well... but i do LOVE elf cosmetics. not only they are inexpensive, they have great quality. i particularly enjoy their eye shadows. they are very pigmented... which is not common for inexpensive e/s. looking forward to your make up tips!♥

ReplyDeleteELF is a pretty good brand. It's no MAC, but for the price the quality isn't too bad at all. I would definitely suggest trying it out!

If you want some good eyeshadow MAC dupes, try the Wet n Wild ColorIcon palettes. They are super cheap and some of the best cosmetic buys out there. And yeah, ELF is good too.
ReplyDeleteI followed you here because you made a comment on another blog about shopping at Ocean State Job Lot, another New Englander! I'm in New Hampshire. You can get some really good deals on makeup at OSJL and Big Lots as well as just about any Dollar Store (Dollar Tree is my favorite). If you want high end but cheap, try TJ Maxx or Marshalls. They don't have a lot of it, but when they do get some in it's the best quality stuff around for about half the price.
Also many bloggers give invitations to online places like Haute Look, take them up on it. Yesterday they had Urban Decay for super cheap, two eyeshadows for less than $5, palettes for less than $10. I'm kicking myself for not checking it out early in the day, by the time I did look everything I wanted was sold out.
