2010!

Thank you for this year! I started this blog only a couple of months ago when I first found out about nail art, and I absolutely love it! I don;'t have time today to post what was my favorite of 2010 because of a wedding I have to go to today. I promise I will soon! Happy New Year!

New Years Eve Manicure

This New Years Eve, I will be at a wedding. Since my dress is blue I did a blue manicure for the occasion.

First one is in natural light, other with flash.

The bright blue is "Sexy in the City" by CG and the darker I used with konad nail sponge art is called "Rodeo Fanatic". Then I used nubar 2010 for the flakes and konad stamp m36 with the konad white polish :)

Question on Nail Paint

I heard people use acrylic paint to make designs (I.E One Brush Stroke designs). Can any paint be used? Also, is it safe to use on natural nails? Thanks!

Two Random Designs

The first one I seen on a website called "Cool Nails Art" I just added the dots and gold glitter. I was trying out the dotting tool. The second one I just randomly added lines and colors and dots. I am still snowed in so I got bored and did these designs

Purple and Gold

I am showing a quick manicure I did. I used Diva of Geneva for the base color of OPI. I received that as one of my nail polishes yesterday and I was dying to use it. I will edit this page and say which ORLY color I used for gold. I had to put in a corner desk into my room and that took hours. Then I had to move furniture around to make it fit. I've had a long and tiresome day lol. But here it is!

The Black glitter is just a stripper polish by LA Colors. I forgot to put back my ring when I was done moving the furniture around.

Also does anyone have any nail blogs they love to follow? I am snowed in and NEED something else to look at lol.

Zoya Flame

I finally got my hands on my first set of Zoya nailpolish. I can't find it ANYWHERE where I live so I had to buy online. I bought the Zoya Flame collection.

From top to bottom:
Tiffany
Valerie (my fav)
Sarah
Lisa
Crystal
Gloria

They are all so beautiful but Valerie is definitely my favorite. These were 2 coats each with no topcoat. Some didn't even need a second coat like the reds and purple.

I have about 12 more polishes coming in tomorrow! Also my student gave me 3 little ones for christmas! So excited lol

Christmas

Sorry for how dry my cuticles are I haven't had time for anything. My boyfriends grandfather passed away and so did a friend of mine who was only 21. I have been busy with wakes and shopping for Christmas and working. This is what I'm hopefully wearing for Christmas if it lasts lol. It is Nicole by OPI base color "Cherry on Top". The green line is China Glaze "Mistletoe Kisses" and I used a stripe right color of silver for the lines and a hint of gold LA Color gold glitter stripe brush

Not too long of a post I have to get to sleep for work tomorrow morning!

Another snowflake manicure

I'm sorry this is a quick post and pictures aren't so well. I used the konad plate m59. The base color is "Sugar Plums" by China Glaze. The stamp and thick lines is pure ice color "Silver Mercedes". I also put some China Glaze "Fairy Dust" on the thick line.

Blue and Snowflakes

Today I am showing you a quick manicure I did. I used the Konad plate m59. Beauty by Brittanny said she would like to see the Dive Deeper Sally Hansen color so here it is!

Its a beautiful shimmery light ice blue, but this was 3 coats. As you can tell it's very light and transparent. I think the word for that is opaque?
