Nicole by OPI - Star of the Party

I have a swatch for you today by Nicole by OPI. It is called Star of the Party. I know loads of people don't like this brand mainly because of the shape of the bottle. I actually like the bottle since it makes it easier to open than most nail polishes. Sometimes the cap is on too tight and the shape of the bottle gives me a bit more grip to open it. Here are some swatches I took outside:

Green Designs and Hurricane Irene.

Well the hurricane came and went. We didn't get it as bad as they said in Mass, but some places got more damage than others. Where I live? Not much damage at all. Here are some pictures:

That was the most damage really. Got pulled up a little.

Besides for that, we lost power for around 6 hours. Some people (including my boyfriend) hasn't had power in over 24 hours. Thankfully dad took home our generator from work so our fridge was good. He also plugged in his tv (of course) and 2 computers. I wasn't bothered really. Though at work, we still haven't received power. Since I do account receivable and payable I can't work today without electricity. So I'm home!

Anyways here is my manicure I did during the storm:

La color in gold glitter

But wow these pictures make my cuticles look horrible! They don't look that bad in real life!

China Glaze Anklets of Amethyst and Sally Hansen Distressed Denim.

Okay guys, I got a nail mail in!!!

On top of my haul, I need to somehow get these baby shown. As you can tell I am so ready for fall colors!

Here was my manicure today. Sorry for cry cuticles, I was on a ferry at the time with no lotion around.

 I put on China Glaze "White on White", and then 3 coats of China Glaze "Anklets of Amethyst". Even after the 3 coats, it was SO sheer I couldn't stand it. I threw on Sally Hansen Crackle in "Distressed Denim" that I had won in a giveaway :). I didn't think I would love this so much! I think it's because the crackle was also a blue jelly crackle and it's so pretty.

Ok I am showing you  one stroke nail art I attempted. Kinda failed.. But I have on Rock-It from the new orly mineral fx collection!!

I got lucky! For spending 45 dollars at Sally's I got the bag free :)

Here is my manicure for the time being:

The base color is Starry Night by Nina Ultra Pro. I used it in my last post as the stamping color. Works great for stamping. Silver Mercedes from Pure Ice as stamp color. The stamp is m64 from my MASH plates.

Im going to do my nails in one of the ORLY Mineral FX colors now! See ya soon!

China Glaze "Golden Enchantment" over Revlon "Candy"

I am showing a quick post today. I have Revlon "Candy" with a konad stamp (m44) on ring finger. I used Nina Ultra Pro "Starry Night" for the stamping and it works amazing as a stamp polish. On top of that I put on "Golden Enchantment" by China Glaze. Golden Enchantment is like Fairy Dust, just in a gold version.

One year!

Today is my one year of having this blog. I am excited. I wish I could have done some great nails but I have been busy with getting ready for my surgery soon, my family is in the process of buying a new house, and working two jobs. Phew. But I have today swatches of the new China Glaze "Skyscraper" from their Fall Metro Collection.. and it's BEAUTIFUL!

Love this. I only cropped it in photoshop to make the pictures smaller. I love my outdoor pictures. Much more accurate than anything.

Love My Nails - Orchid

I am reviewing today a brand called "Love My Nails". It's one of the cheaper brands you can find in Walmart. The color is called "Orchid".

 The color looks kinda cloudy, I think it's because I have had this color for SOOO long. I am halfway through with it. It's starting to thicken so I will try some thinner for it. I have Orly Bonder and Seche Top coat and it seems to be lasting :)

Quick design

I am showing you the preview swatch of Kieko from Zoya. But I added sponged tip of Zoya Nimue from the new fall collection. With a quick line strips, konad stamp of MASH plate m26, and a purple sparkes added to the tips with Color Zone polish.

Rimmel London Stiletto Red with Sinful Colors Frenzy

 I got both of these colors for my birthday from my coach. The Rimmel went on like a dream. It was absolutely PERFECT!

Zoya Tart and design!

I decided to do my nails today in Zoya because of their new promotion they are having. If you haven't seen it check out their facebook page! Get two free polish's when you buy any Zoya or Qtica item.
